RAILA REJECTS PROVISIONAL RESULTS AS ORENGO CALLS FOR KENYANS TO STAND AGAINST IT
The National Super Alliance has rejected the results of Tuesday general election terming them fake and fraudulent and saying they don’t represent the will of Kenyans.
NASA flag bearer Raila Amolo Odinga expressed concerned that the results were not in line with the law claiming that despite IEBC agreeing to follow the law, the tallies from the constituencies were not put up.
“We need a clean sheet of tallies from all the constituencies..this is a sham and a contravention of Section 39 of the Elections Act.”
Raila went on to state “We, therefore, reject all the results released so far…and demand that the IEBC reveals all the results as streamed through Form34.”
Meanwhile other NASA party stalwarts Senator James Orengo and NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi said the results amount to a fraud and urged their supporters to ignore the same.
Senator Orengo went further to state:
“Everybody out there should be prepared to stand up for their rights and reject the results, ” told the press at a briefing on Wednesday.
However their statements were widely condemned by a wide range of Kenyans commenting on social media and other news platforms.
